This page is dedicated to my father-in-law Gaston Belanger and his brothers Conrad and Lionel, all of whom fought for the liberation of the Netherlands during the second world war. Conrad, who was killed on April 2, 1945, is one of the five unrelated (or possibly distantly related) Belangers who lie buried in Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, Nijmegan and only one of the 5700 Canadians who died fighting for the Netherlands.
